I then explored other options, like updating the CyberLink YouCam directly through the website, but the installation was locked by Windows 10, it seems due to a lack of a valid signature, even though there are ways to bypass this, I decided not to do it yet. I updated the driver HP Webcam driver through the Device Manager, just to tell me that I had the latest driver available (which changed nothing to be honest). The things I've done so far now are: Update the CyberLink YouCam software (through HP), the camera was not working even when it was ran with the original software that came with my PC (never opened the software until I had this problem), and just today, the camera seemed stable enough to not crush the updated CyberLink YouCam program. I read a lot, and did not find a solution yet. My search for fixing this problem started. Afterwards, the camera failed again on a Google Hangout session when that happened, I started to worry. Since I updated to Windows 10, everything was working like peaches, but a couple weeks ago, I tried to use Skype, and the Webcam ceased to work, I believed it was a small problem, and ignored it.
